New Office Procedures Beginning Monday, May 4
Dear patients and friends,
Your BIMA team would like to update you on our plans for bringing patients back into the office beginning Monday, May 4. As we do so, we want to assure you that the safety of our patients and clinical team are our primary concerns. We are implementing the following measures to help facilitate this:
All patients and guests are required to wear masks to their appointments. Paper and cloth masks (including homemade) are acceptable.
You will be limited to only bringing one guest with you to the appointment, and we ask that guests only accompany patients if absolutely necessary.
All BIMA patients, including those here for in-office and curbside visits, will need to drive through BIMA’s new registration and curbside tent, following the posted signs. This tent is located to the far-left side of the parking lot when facing the building, next to the sports performance field. Staff will be there to assist you.
You must complete your Phreesia pre-visit registration, including paying any applicable co-pay or balance, prior to your arrival at the registration tent. This will be emailed and/or text messaged to you prior to your appointment.
For all in-office appointments, after registration, you will be asked to park and wait in your car to receive a text message from our office notifying that your exam room is ready.
Once you have received the text message, you will enter through the conference center doors, between the main entrance and the surgery center entrance, where patients and guests will go through our screening process.
After screening, you will proceed to the third-floor lobby of BIMA where you will then be escorted to your exam room by a member of BIMA staff.
All in-office sick patients will be seen in designated exam rooms, which are disinfected regularly throughout the day – these rooms remain isolated from well-patient rooms and are used exclusively for sick patients. Our staff and providers will be wearing gloves, masks, and following frequent hand-washing protocols to help keep our patients and staff safe. Our offerings of virtual office visits through BIMA’s eClinic remain available, as do our curbside visits for sick patients, those needing COVID19 testing, and COVID19 antibody testing.
